Tafnit Program was chosen to display at the "Tomorrow's Spaces"

Exhibition - part of the 2008 Israel President's Conference "Facing Tomorrow" 

in conjuction with Israel's 60th Independence Day celebrations

which took place in Jerusalem 13-15 May 2008.

 

The Exhibition highlighted 60 leading Israeli initiatives that were chosen,

out of hundreds, that were determined would "help shape the face of Israel's tomorrow"

 


The President's Conference: "Facing Tomorrow"

The 60th Year of Israel's Independence

"Facing Tomorrow: The first annual conference under the auspices of President Shimon Peres - took place in Jerusalem in May 2008. "Facing Tomorrow" dealt with directions that are expected to determine the face of tomorrow. Such directions include: Israeli, Jewish and world aspects and future challenges with which humankind will face.

Among the guests who attended the conference:    

 George Bush - US President

 Henry Kissinger - Former US Secretary of State

 Terry Semel- Founder and former President of Yahoo

 Susan Decker- President of Yahoo

 Mikhail Gorbachev - Former President of the USSR

 Tony Blair - former Prime Minister of Great Britain

provided a unique stage to display leading developements and initiatives that have been determined will help change the face of Tomorrow.

The Exhibition was divided into six spaces that represent six facets of humankind activity:

 

The Personal and Social Space

The Urban Space

The Land and Sea Space

The Aerial Space

The Intelectual Space

The Virtual Space 


The Sixty initiatives, developed by Israeli entrepeneurs,  were exhibited to all who attended the Conference to show the ideas and developments that have in the greatest potential to intrinsically change the face of Tomorrow.
